Affiliation Pricing Structure
Greater impact, real commitment, shared cost. Electronics Watch operates on an affiliation basis, rather than fee for service. By affiliating you make an organisational commitment to socially responsible public procurement. At the same time you benefit from sharing the cost of monitoring your electronics supply chains with other affiliates, and coordinating industry engagement through Electronics Watch. You lower cost, while maximising impact.
Give a little to get a lot. The Electronics Watch affiliation pricing structure allows public sector buyers to combine small amounts of resources to create supply chain insight and leverage that would be impossible to generate alone.
Fair for all. The costings aim to be fair to all types of public sector purchasing organisations, big, small and collaborative, whilst also reflecting the differing capacity required for Electronics Watch to service their needs. Costing based on amount spent on electronics products is the most accurate measure for the amount of monitoring that will be required, and the level of support each organisation will need.
Don’t sacrifice quality. Monitoring must be of high quality to be credible and to produce real change for workers and public organisations. Your dues pay for quality.

There are three bands that reflect different amounts of annual spending on electronics products. The minimum affiliation fee is €3,000 for any organisation.
Band A: €0-€4,999,999 average annual ICT hardware spending for a single institution
The annual affiliation fee is 1% of ICT hardware spending, or €5,000, whichever is lower. Eg. For an organisation that spends an average of €300,000 affiliation is €3,000. For an organisation that spends €3,000,000, affiliation is still just €5,000.
Band A is designed to provide reasonable pricing for organisations with relatively small ICT hardware spending, and to capture most individual organisations, even up to a fairly moderate level of annual spending.
Band B: Above €5 million average annual ICT hardware spending for a single institution
The annual affiliation fee is 0.1% of ICT hardware spending, up to a maximum of €60,000. For an organisation that spends an average of €6 million affiliation is €6,000.
Band B is designed to provide reasonable pricing for organisations with larger ICT hardware spending, and to capture most individual organisations, even up to fairly large levels of annual spending.
Band C: Procurement consortia
The annual affiliation fee for groups such as procurement consortia is 0.1% of the combined annual average spending of all members, up to a maximum of €60,000. These costs can be distributed in any way the consortium decides.
Band C is designed for groups of public organisations that wish to affiliate on behalf of all of their members. This includes, particularly, procurement consortia.
