The Electronics Watch Annual Conference

Save the date: the next Electronics Watch Annual Conference takes place on 6th -7th November 2024 in Brussels, Belgium!

The 2024 Electronics Watch Annual Conference "Public Procurement and the Evolving Due Diligence landscape" will take place from 6-7 November in Brussels, Belgium. It is generously co-hosted by the Flemish Agency for Facility Operations (Het Facilitair Bedrijf), with support from the Flemish Government. It will be held in the the Herman Teirlinck building; more information about the programme will be available shortly.

The Annual Conference focuses on connecting leading practitioners of socially responsible public procurement with labour rights monitoring partners from electronics production regions globally. Public buyers hear directly from these monitors about workers' experiences, and conditions in their own supply chains. This immediate connection to the reality on the ground is vital to improving social responsibility in supply chains and to making a difference for workers and their communities.

Virtual summits

Meeting face to face is important to build the relationships we need to achieve the most impact for workers. In order to ensure our core constituents continued to have equal access to this opportunity, in 2020 and 2021 we replaced it with virtual summits.

We also held a Virtual Summit in 2023: Public Buyers and Workers: Advancing Human Rights Together took place from 14-16 November. Recordings of the public sessions are available here.
