New German Affiliate – the Bundesdruckerei Group
In May 2025, the Bundesdruckerei Gruppe GmbH, a German government-owned company that specializes in secure identification and digital security solutions, became Electronics Watch's latest affiliate. Headquartered in Berlin, the group plays a central role in safeguarding sensitive data and infrastructure for both the public and private sectors in Germany.
Miguel Colbert, Corporate Sustainability Manager from the Bundesdruckerei Group, said: "With its digital and security expertise, the Bundesdruckerei Group contributes to the digital sovereignty of Germany and Europe as a federal technology company. In doing so, it creates trust in society. The aim of the cooperation with Electronics Watch is to identify potential human rights risks in relation to indirect suppliers of the Bundesdruckerei Group. In this way, the Bundesdruckerei Group not only aims to fulfill the legal requirements, but also to fulfill its role model function as a federal company."
