Aykut Kazanci is a consultant on Supply Chain Risks with extensive experience as a quality, safety and social compliance lead auditor. He was most recently Director of Best Practices- Audit & Verification in Walk Free, an NGO dedicated to end modern slavery. Previously, he managed China based sustainability and CSR projects, served as Corporate Responsibility Manager for American Eagle in Asia Pacific, and worked as the Eastern Hemisphere Manager for Fair Labor Association. Before coming to the FLA, he was Lead Auditor for Bureau Veritas, Regional Coordinator for Verité, Consultant for ILO-EU Textile Sector Program, Social Auditor with Intertek, Safety Trainer for Cement Manufacturers Employer Union, CSR Expert for GTZ, Assessor for the JO-IN project, and Lead Assessor for BSI-British Standards Institution in EMEA. Earlier in his career, he worked with the New York based Lawyers Committee in human rights missions in Turkey. He holds a B.S. in Mechanical Engineering and has been trained on ISO 9001, OHSAS 18001 and SA 8000 management system standards.

Gopinathan is a founding member and has been General Secretary of Cividep since its inception in the year 2000. He has worked in English daily journalism, and with civil society organisations concerned with the rights of Dalits, women, marginal farmers and informal sector workers. Gopinathan did his Masters in Social Work, with Personnel Management and Labour Welfare as specialisations.
