Glorene Das joins Electronics Watch Board of Trustees

Following elections earlier this year, Electronics Watch is pleased to welcome Glorene Das (Tenaganita, Malaysia) as a new Trustee!

As Executive Director of Tenaganita, an Electronics Watch monitoring partner based in Malaysia, Glorene brings over two decades of frontline and strategic leadership.

Tenaganita is a human rights organisation dedicated to protecting and empowering migrants, refugees, women, and children from exploitation, discrimination, slavery, and human trafficking. Tenaganita works to amplify the voices of marginalized and vulnerable communities and to uphold their rights and dignity.

"I am committed to strengthening Electronics Watch's strategic direction, ensuring that its work not only identifies violations, but contributes to systemic change, where workers are not invisible inputs, but rights holders at the centre of governance, accountability, and remedy,"  commented Glorene.

We are also pleased to welcome back trustees who were re-elected. Shigeru Tanaka, Pacific Asia Resource Centre - PARC (Japan) and Esty Marcu, University of Sydney (Australia), who are co-chairs; as well as Pauline Göthburg, Swedish Regions (Sweden); Michael McLaughlin, Advanced Procurement for Universities and Colleges – APUC (UK), and Rochelle Porras, now representing a new organisation, Good Electronics (Philippines).
