Staffing changes at Electronics Watch

Some departures and some new arrivals

Cindy Berman concluded her contract with Electronics Watch in December 2025. She will take a pause from her regular professional activities to write a book. We are grateful for Cindy's extensive contributions to the organisation's work over the last few years, including the Knowledge Building Series!

Peter Pawlicki will be taking a sabbatical for 6 months stating at the end of February this year. Heleen Schols will be assuming many of Peter's responsibilities during his absence. Heleen is a strategic researcher and programme manager with experience in government, NGOs, and the private sector.

Three current staff members have recently assumed new roles. With the integration of the Low Emission Vehicles programme into our core offer, Rocío Paniagua will support public buyers as an Affiliate Engagement and Mineral Supply Chains Manager. Haëndila Varela has become a Project Coordinator. This will allow her to spend more time supporting the monitoring team, now that the Knowledge Building Series has finished. Petra Krčmářová has moved into the role of Data and Project Coordinator, taking on more leadership for data management. She will be part of the Data Management team under direction of Simon Gray.

We are also pleased to announce two temporary additions to the team, Jim Cranshaw and Olga Martin-Ortega, both Electronics Watch advisers and former members of the Board of Trustees. Jim is providing fundraising support. His consultancy is focused on identifying funding opportunities and preparing grant applications. Olga will be managing one of the work packages in the ElectroPower Project. That work includes research on forced labour in Southeast Asia and explores effective policies and practices to combat it.
